Scott Guttery Scott Guttery grew up in Southwest Florida. He graduated from Bishop Verot High school in 1997 and went on to play college basketball at Centre College in Danville, KY. Scott graduated from Centre College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science and a major in Psychology. He moved back to Fort Myers in 2001. Since returning, he has coached JV basketball at Dunbar (2001-2003) and Bishop Verot (2003-2004). He was the head girl’s coach at Bishop Verot for 1 season (2004-2005). Guttery was then hired to start up the basketball program at Ida Baker High School in Cape Coral, FL. He coached there from 2005-2007.In April of 2007, Guttery was hired as the head boy's basketball coach at Fort Myers High School. In 4 seasons with the Green Wave, Guttery has lead the Wave to a 94-29 record, winning 4 district titles, 3 LCAC titles, 1 trip to the sweet 16 (2008), a trip to the elite 8 (2011) and a State Championship in 2010. Fort Myers has not lost a district game (regular season or tournament) in Guttery's 4 years at the helm. In 2009, Guttery received the FACA district 5A coach of the year award. In 2010, after leading the Green Wave to Lee County's first ever state basketball title, Guttery was named SFABC (SW FL Association of Basketball Coaches) and Florida's 4A coach of the year. Scott has been married to his wife, Becky, for 9 years. They have two boys, Reece (5 years old) & Trae (4 year old). Scott teaches Business and Technology at FMHS. |
Chris Mustaine Chris was born in Arlington, Virginia but moved to Bradenton, Florida at the age of 2. He graduated from Manatee High School where he played varsity basketball and was on the State Senior All-Star team, Southern Division. He then attended University of South Florida, Tampa & got his BA in Physical Education. He then transferred to Halifax, Virginia Elementary School as a PE instructor while attending graduate school at Liberty College in Lynchburg. His coaching history includes Chris lives in Fort Myers with his wife Brigit and their daughters Mary Catherine (3 yrs) and . He is employed as the Associate Area Director for the Young Life Program in Lee County. |

Chad Terrell Chad graduated from Fort Myers High School in 1997. He returned to the Green Wave 5 years ago and works as the supervisor of campus security. He has been an assistant football coach with the Green Wave all 5 years. This is Chad's third year coaching basketball for the Green Wave. In his first two seasons, he compiled a record of 34-4. Chad is married and has 2 children.

Jim Donmoyer After a one-year stint as the head coach at Estero High School, Jim Donmoyer returns to the Green Wave family. He was part of our coaching staff for the 2010 State Championship team. Coach Donmoyer started his basketball coaching career as the freshmen coach at Tampa Jesuit High School under Coach Gordon Gibbons. As a beginning elementary teacher in Lee County, he also served as freshmen and JV coach under Joe Pizzano at Ft. Myers High School in the mid-70’s. In 1979, Jim helped start YBA in Lee County, a youth league that he stay involved with for 30 years. Having spent 33 years as a teacher, coach, AP, and principal…all in Lee County, Jim retired in 2008. Coach Donmoyer is married to Cindy Donmoyer, a kindergarten teacher at Orangewood Elementary School. He has two sons, James(married to Jamie) and Jordan. In addition, Jim and Cindy have a granddaughter, Emily, who is 5 years old. |

Lawton Roberts Lawton's full time job is an insurance agent here in Fort Myers. He served as an assistant coach for the varsity basketball team during the 2008-2009 season.
